MPPM to Expand Business Opportunities in Uzbekistan through Strategic Cooperation

MPPM has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Assembly of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, opening new avenues for Malaysian businesses, professionals and institutions to explore opportunities in Uzbekistan. The MOU was signed at the World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur, by Prof. Is. Dr. Zam @ Ab. Razak Zamri, President of MPPM, and Ms. Gulrukh Radjabova, Director of International Cooperation of the Assembly.

The partnership covers trade missions and business forums, investment and project collaboration (including infrastructure, urban development and smart cities), halal industry cooperation, education and student mobility, Islamic finance, and tourism and cultural exchange. Both sides will also establish permanent offices in Malaysia and Uzbekistan to support ongoing coordination, with Dr. Ali Sher Mohamad appointed as the Assembly's Advisor and Country Representative in Malaysia.

MPPM welcomes enquiries from businesses, professionals and institutions interested in the cooperation areas outlined above.
